The President of Atlantic Design Engineers is Simon Thomas, P.E., LSP and Richard Tabaczynski, P.E. is the Vice President. Atlantic's experienced staff includes registered professional engineers, CADD Engineers, highly trained technicians, and environmental specialists providing civil and environmental engineering services to municipal, commercial, and private clients in the fields of land planning, commercial site design, residential subdivision design, construction management and inspection, water supply and sewer design, septic design, drainage studies, environmental analyses, environmental impact reports, traffic analysis, state/local permitting, and town consulting/review services. 		 
 
  In addition to our expertise in civil engineering, Atlantic is known as one of the leading firms in design, development and permitting of wind power projects in New England. To date we have been involved in various aspects of siting analysis, permitting, and design of over 50 wind turbine project sites. With our added experience in over 500 cell tower projects in the New England region during the past 18 years, Atlantic has acquired the unique skills for effective wind turbine project assessment, permitting and construction.

Projects are completed using the project team approach which utilizes our most qualified individual employees to provide the expertise needed to solve individual project concerns. A principal of the firm is in overall project management of each project, regardless of the project size, to ensure that the services provided meet the highest standards established by ADE. In addition, we work in partnership with our clients to accommodate their engineering needs. The quality of our work has resulted in our strong reputation within both the business and regulatory communities.

ADE is able to provide comprehensive design services on a timely basis through the use of fully-automated CADD workstations and a wide variety of engineering software packages, including Civil 3D design software. Atlantic's computerized design capability includes coordinate geometry, subdivision/site plans, hydraulic and hydrologic design, traffic analysis, road plans and profiles, grading plans, topographic mapping, groundwater and air quality modeling, and landscape design. The use of state of the art equipment allows us to study alternative designs resulting in cost-effective and creative solutions for our clients. Our wind power consulting services are enhanced by our engineering software programs and our state-of-the-art, computer-assisted design and drafting system. Micro-Siting wind contour maps are generated using our in-house, patent pending, proprietary software.
