Mann Farms Solar Project

A 70kW Solar Project in Bourne, MA

This 70kW ground mounted array was a great opportunity as it was the first project where permitting and interconnection design resulted in executing an in-house engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreement. Work involved subcontracting site work, electrical work as well as securing rights to Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SREC II) and net metering eligibility.

Array Summary

Module Count 210 Panels
Panel Manufacturer 335 Watt LG
Rated DC Output 70.35 kW
Inverter Make SolarEdge 14kW
Invterter Count 7 Inverters
Rated AC Output 53.3 kW

21 Fottler Road Tank Removal

Fottler Road, Hingham, MA

As part of a refinancing for a property in Hingham, due diligence indicated the historical presence of an underground storage tank. After completing further investigation it was found that a tank formerly used to heat the building had leaked into surrounding soils.

Atlantic managed the tank removal, soils excavation, regulatory reporting requirements and groundwater testing services. After completion of the excavation, Atlantic's response actions resulted in site conditions consistant with background levels, meaning a permanent solution was reached and no further action was required by MassDEP.

15 Research Road Rooftop

A 120kW Rooftop Solar Project in Falmouth, MA

Work completed for this 120kW roof mounted project included layout design, utility interconnection application and owner consulting regarding procurement, installation and state incentive filings. Mr. Thomas acted as both project manager and owners representative resulting in a per-watt project cost competitive with a megawatt scale facility.

TECH SPECS:

Module Count 350 Panels
Panel Manufacturer 345 Watt SolarWorld
Rated DC Output 120.8 kW
Rated AC Output 100.8 kW

Greenwood Meadows Solar Project

A 4MW facility installed in Sandwich, MA.

Atlantic performed survey and engineering services for the design and permitting of a 4.0 MW solar panel array located on a 63 acre parcel of land in Sandwich, MA. After the Town of Sandwich passed a bylaw allowing, by special permit, large scale ground mounted solar photovoltaic installations, the developers of the Greenwood Meadows residential community proceeded with the 16 acre solar field project in conjunction with S+C Electric of Chicago.

As a key member of the project's permitting team, Atlantic assisted in obtaining approvals from the Cape Cod Commission, Sandwich Planning Board, FAA, MA Dept. of Fish and Game as well as the Mass. Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs.

Atlantic's design services consisted of preparation of site plans, stormwater and erosion control design, site grading and balance of earthwork activities and delivery/maintenance access road design. During construction, Atlantic provided construction inspection services as well as detailed survey stakeout, ranging from pile locations to grading cuts and fills.

Jericho Mountain Wind Turbines

Five turbine project in Berlin, NH

The Jericho Mountain Wind Turbine Design/Build project consisted of complete engineering, procurement and construction of 5 turbines on Jericho Mountain in Berlin, New Hampshire. The two stage build process resulted in a 14 MW wind project on Jericho Mountain

Atlantic Design Engineers Completed turbine site layout, energy calculations and wind resource assessments, noise and flicker analysis, site plans, stormwater calculations, photosimulations, access road layout/design, and state and local permitting for the project.

Fog Island Cafe Solar Project

30kW Solar Project in Nantucket, MA

This project is one of the largest solar installations to date on the island of Nantucket. Work included local permitting, system design, survey, and construction stakeout services as well as incentive filings with the Department of Energy Resources (DOER) and net metering assurance.

Rosebrook Place UST Removals

Rosebrook Place, Wareham, MA

In May 0f 2013, three underground storage tanks (USTs) ranging from 500 gallons to 1,000 gallons each were located during excavation activities.

Atlantic managed the removal of three USTs, including excavation and stockpiling of 150 yards of impacted soils, testing of soils, installation of monitoring wells and groundwater analyses. In addition to response actions, Atlantic managed regulatory compliance with Mass DEP including the Site's Permanent Solution with no Conditions.

Project Details:
